Abstract

Thesis title: This study examines the self-confidence profile of class XIA students of SMK Kesehatan Yayasan Cartintes Atambua in the 2023–2024 academic year and its use in personal guidance programs. The average student's self-confidence is 95.5 with a range of -236-280, which is considered strong based on the research results obtained using a quantitative, descriptive, and numerical approach. This kind of self-confidence is characterized by optimism, objectivity, responsibility, and realistic and reasonable attitudes. The principal should be more supportive of guidance and counselling services; teachers should provide services according to the curriculum to help overcome obstacles; and students should be more active in participating in personal guidance activities to maintain positive self-esteem, based on the results of this study.
