Abstract
Bele Lea singing at the nggua (harvest thanksgiving) ceremony is a traditional ritual carried out by the community as an expression of gratitude to God and the ancestors for the harvest they have received. Expressions of gratitude are sung through the poetry contained in the lyrics of the song Bele Lea. The song Bele Lea is sung by a poet commonly known as Ata Sodha, to accompany the gawi dance at the harvest thanksgiving ceremony. Ata Sodha was chosen from people who still have the Mosalaki bloodline. This happened because Sodha had to retell the history of the land and Mosalaki descendants in Lewumbangga village. The public does not yet know how the Bele Lea song is presented and also what role Ata Sodha plays in the harvest thanksgiving ceremony. The purpose of this research is to determine the form of presentation of Ata Sodha in singing the Bele Lea song and his role as the singer of the Bele Lea song lyrics in the nggua (harvest thanksgiving) ceremony. This research uses a qualitative approach, with ethnographic methods. The data type consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Research data was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that: 1. The form of presentation of the Bele Lela song by Ata Sodha uses the local regional language, namely Lio, and when singing the song Bele Lea Ata Sodha stands in a place called tubu kanga (place of worship). 2. Ata Sodha's role in the harvest thanksgiving ceremony in Lewumbangga village is very important. Ata Sodha is not just singing song lyrics but is also an extension of Mosalaki's tongue to convey important things to the community.
