Abstract
Traffic accidents are the main indicator of road safety levels. Kupang City as the Capital of East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) is one of the areas with the largest number of accidents in NTT. Currently, information about accidents is still presented in the form of newspaper advertisements and online articles. The shortcomings of the existing information system are that it only displays images and names of roads where accidents occur, but does not display details about black spots, causes of accidents and solutions to avoid accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to create a web-based information system that can help traffic officers understand and analyze existing traffic accident patterns, with the aim of reducing the risk and impact of accidents in Kupang City on the community. This study uses the waterfall method with stages including Analysis, System Design, System Implementation and System Testing. This application will be developed with the PHP program and MySQL database as data storage. This Traffic Accident Data Processing Information System has two user roles, namely the admin role to manage traffic accident data and the user role to display web-based accident locations. The result of this research is a web-based information system that provides convenience and speed to the public in displaying black spots, causes of accidents and solutions to avoid accidents.
