Abstract
Tebe Bot is a dance performed on big days in Malaka Regency. In the past, Tebe Bot Dance was performed to welcome the Commander who had just returned from the battlefield. However, along with the development of the era, Tebe Bot Dance has changed its function as a means of entertainment that is performed, such as on big days in Church, commemorating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Welcoming Important Guests, art competitions, and at traditional ceremonies for the people of Malaka Regency. However, now Tebe Bot is rarely performed by the people of Naisau Village because people are more interested in using Tebe songs that have been combined with modern music. Thus, the existence of Tebe Bot Dance in Naisau Village is starting to be threatened with extinction so that researchers are interested in conducting research at that location with the aim of maintaining the existence of regional arts, namely Tebe Bot Dance which is full of character education values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the form of songs in Tebe Bot Dance and describe the values contained in Tebe Bot Dance in the Naisau Village Community, Malaka Regency.
