Abstract

The thesis entitled "The Influence of Leadership Style, Motivation and Physical Work Environment on Work Discipline of Ngada Regency Population and Civil Registration Service Employees", is written by Godefridus Riu Sapu NIM. 81122023, and supervised by P. Dr. Philipus Tule, SVD and P. Dr. Cosmas Fernandes, SVD, MA. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of each variable, such as Leadership Style (X1), Motivation (X2), and Physical Work Environment (X3), on Work Discipline (Y). The research was conducted at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Ngada Regency over a period of 6 months, from December 2023 to May 2024. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, and literature reviews. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods, including inferential statistics, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The analysis results indicate that the variables Leadership Style (X1), Motivation (X2), Physical Work Environment (X3), and Work Discipline (Y) have a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously. This is demonstrated by the correlation coefficient (r) approaching 1. Additionally, in the ANOVA or F-test, the F value for each variable was greater than the F table value at a significance level of 0.05. The joint analysis yielded the regression equation Y = 11.995 + 0.235 X1 + 0.263 X2 + 0.266 X3. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that Leadership Style, Motivation, and Physical Environment have a positive and significant impact on Work Discipline.
