Abstract
This research was written by Paskalis Silvanus Nahak Taek (31120048), Development Economics Study Program, under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. M.E. Perseveranda, SE., M.Si as supervisor I, and Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen, SE.,MM as supervisor II, with the research title "Analysis of Factors that Influence the Income of Fruit Traders in Oebobo District, Kupang City". This research aims to determine the socio-economic characteristics of fruit traders and to find out partially and simultaneously whether Capital, Length of Business and Working Hours have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on the income of fruit traders in Oebobo District, Kupang City. This research is quantitative in nature and is based on primary data. The location of this research is in Oebobo sub-district, Kupang City. The population in this study were all fruit traders in the Oebobo sub-district, Kupang city. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique by taking 30 fruit trader respondents. The data collected was then processed using the EViews 12 program, to see the results of descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and determination tests (R^2). The partial test results show that the capital variable (X1) has a positive and insignificant effect on income (Y) because the prob value (significance) is 0.8114 > 0.05, the length of business variable (X2) has a negative and insignificant effect on income (y) because the prob value (significance) is 0.5699 > 0.05, the working hours variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on income (Y) because the prob value (significance) is 0.0068 < 0.05. Simultaneous test results show the F-count value, so the F-count value is 3.380660 > F table of 3.3496 with a prob (F-statistic) of 0.033241 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the independent variables are capital (X1), length of business (X2), hours work (X3) has a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the dependent variable income (Y). It is hoped that future researchers can add other variables that can influence the income level of fruit traders in Oebobo District, Kupang City.
