Abstract

Kupang City, as the capital of East Nusa Tenggara Province on the eastern island of Indonesia, has many high school and vocational schools. However, information about these schools is still limited because there is no geographic information system that specifically provides data about high schools and vocational schools in this city. To overcome this problem, a geographic information system is needed that is capable of presenting complete information about high schools and vocational schools in Kupang City. This research uses a software engineering method with a waterfall model, following systematic stages, namely communication, planning, modeling, construction and deployment. The system developed utilizes the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and produces a website that provides detailed information about high schools and vocational schools in Kupang City.
