Abstract

Atambua is one of the capital cities in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, NTT. It is a city rich in history, culture and tourism potential. Its strategic location borders the State of Timor Leste. This research focuses on the redesign of the DPRD office in Atambua, Belu Regency, aiming to create a building that represents local cultural identity while supporting effective government functions. A transformational design approach was applied by adapting elements of the Belu traditional house into a modern, functional form. Through this redesign, it is hoped that the DPRD office can become a new icon for Belu Regency that reflects local wisdom values, improves the image of the legislative institution, and becomes a center for better public services. In this way, the DPRD office can contribute actively to regional development and strengthen democracy at the local level.
