Abstract

Mapping agricultural land locations is an essential step in supporting more effective and efficient agricultural management and planning. This study aims to map agricultural land in Rote Ndao Regency using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.The data used in this study includes spatial and non-spatial data, such as topographic maps, satellite imagery, and agricultural statistics. The methods used involve data collection, data processing, spatial analysis, and map visualization. The results of the study indicate that the utilization of GIS can provide accurate information regarding the distribution of agricultural land in Rote Ndao Regency. The maps produced not only show the location of agricultural land but also identify the types of crops cultivated, land area, and environmental conditions that affect agricultural productivity. The application of GIS in mapping agricultural land in Rote Ndao Regency is expected to assist local governments and farmers in making better decisions related to agricultural resource management, planting planning, and production improvement. Additionally, this research contributes to the development of an agricultural database that can be accessed and updated periodically.
