Abstract

This research examines: "Development Strategy of Nagerawe Village, Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency". This study aims to determine the Development Strategy of Nagerawe Village, Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency. In this study using the theory of strategy according to Richard P. Rumelt in the book Good Strategy / Bad Strategy (2011) where there are three indicators that are the focus of this research, namely internal consistency, concentration and competitive advantage. This research uses qualitative deductive research with the problem approach in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Development Strategy of Nagerawe Village,Boawae District, Nagekeo Regency was quite good. Judging from the results of research on internal consistency, the strategies carried out are in line with village development goals where there are BUM Desa and Village Regulations which are facilities to achieve coherent and integrated village development. From the results of concentration research, the focus on seeing priorities and opportunities in the village is good. However, there are obstacles in the allocation of resources due to lack of seeing future challenges such as the human resources of BUM Desa and the reporting system in village regulations regarding animal control, the community is still experiencing a dilemma to report. For competitive advantage, the village has abundant water resources to maintain sustainability, then in the aspect of superior performance is still hampered but natural resources are able to be used as a competitive advantage. Of course there are ways that can be done to overcome some of these problems. However,the author believes that preventive steps can be taken as in the concept of Richard P.Rumelt,namely diagnosis, policy guidance and action. This is by applying the right allocation of human resources such as empowerment in improving BUM Desa governance as well as creating a reporting and socialization system related to PERDES, which will present a competitive advantage towards improving welfare in achieving village development.
