Abstract

This research was written by Anselma Perada Bolen (31120040), Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, under the guidance of supervisor I, Mrs. Enike T. Yustin Dima, SE, ME and supervisor II, Br. Salomon Leki, SVD, SE, M.Ec.Dev with the research title "Analysis of Fund Management in Handling Stunting in Kenotan Village, Central Adonara District, East Flores Regency" The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management of village funds in handling stunting in Kenotan Village. The analysis technique used in this study is qualitative descriptive with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. With 13 informants used. The result of this study is that the use of village funds allocated for stunting handling in Kenotan Village has been utilized in accordance with the budget and has increased, especially in the health aspect. However, it has not been to the maximum because there are still some children who are still stunted. This is evident from the conditions in the field based on the results of observations, there are still parents who are negligent and undisciplined in terms of providing additional food and there are some children who do not get Executive Breast Milk so that it interferes with children's growth and development. For an overview of stunting in Kenotan Village in the time bracket from 2019 to 2023, the number of stunted children has decreased insignificantly. The decrease in stunting rates is due to intervention from the government and budget allocation for handling and has been utilized even though it has not been maximized. The suggestion that can be given from the results of this study is that the PKK Team and health workers in Kenotan Village must always hold continuous socialization about child parenting, breastfeeding, and healthy food consumption patterns to young mothers and future generations so that it will have a better impact in the future and parents of children affected by stunting to always pay attention to children and always provide nutritious food for children so that their growth and development can went well.
