Abstract
East Manggarai is a district in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, located in the eastern part of Indonesia. Data collection on senior high schools and vocational schools by the NTT Provincial Education Office in East Manggarai district is still limited. This is due to the difficulty of access to many school locations. Therefore, a website-based information system is needed to help collect data on high schools and vocational schools. This research applies the waterfall method which involves the stages of analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. This information system was developed using PHP programming language and MYSQL database. With this waterfall engineering model, a web-based SMA and SMK Information System is produced to collect school information in East Manggarai Regency such as teacher data, number of teachers, student data and number of students, news and school facilities that can help the NTT Provincial Education Office.
