Abstract
Controlling key response parameters such as vibration period, modal mass participation, dynamic shear force ratio to static shear force, building drift, and stability index is essential in seismic-resistant building design. This study analyzes the influence of stair and ramp elements on building response by comparing four structural models. The ETABS software analysis results indicate that the building’s vibration period (T), base shear force, and mass participation comply with the provisions of SNI 1726-2019. The inter-story drift values in the X-direction on floors 1 and 5 of Models 2 and 4 meet the requirements, whereas in the Y-direction, all floors do not meet the criteria specified in Table 20 of SNI 1726-2019.
