Abstract
The tomato plant (Lycopersicum esculentum L) is a fruit vegetable that has long been known to the public and plays a role in fulfilling people's nutrition because tomatoes contain quite high levels of vitamins A, C and a small amount of B vitamins and minerals. Tomatoes can be consumed fresh as a substitute for fruit or used as a complement to cooking spices. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of each organik fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants. The method used in this research was an experimental trial using a Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The total experimental units are 25 experimental units. The variables studied included plant height, number of leaves, flowering time, number of fruit planting, and weight of fruit planting. Then the data obtained was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the Anova results show there is a difference in treatment, then it is tested further with the Duncan test. Data processing is presented with SPSS version 25 software. From the research results, it was found that the application of organik fertilizer from rice straw, rice husks, goat feces to tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum L) had a very significant influence on the parameters of number of leaves, number of fruit, and fruit weight. However, it did not have a significant effect on plant height and flowers of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum L). Regarding the fruit yield and weight obtained from the three types of treatment used, rice husks gave the best results from the other two treatments. This means that rice husks are classified as supporting the growth of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum L).
