Abstract

The demographic dividend is moving along with the increasing amount of waste in cities and even throughout the world. In smaller contexts such as in Kupang City, people can still be seen throwing rubbish as they please in various corners of the city and even in the city center. The waste problem in Kupang City is caused by people not disposing of organic and inorganic waste properly before throwing the waste at the Temporary Disposal Site (TPS). The aim of this research is to educate the public through simple web-based animations regarding household waste separation. The method used is the waterfall method used to compile the web. The results of this research are the availability of a web-based household waste separation education portal in Kupang City, to increase public knowledge about household waste management.
