Abstract
This research was written by Anastasia Bibu Gai (31120046) of the Development Economics Study Program under the guidance of Supervisor I Mrs. Dr.M.E.Perseveranda, SE., M.Si and Supervisor II apak Adrianus Ketmoen, SE, MM with the title "Analysis of Local Economic Potential for Accelerating Development in Sabu Raijua Regency in 2019-2023" The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) An overview of the local economic potential in Sabu Raijua Regency. 2) Classification of local economic sectors in Sabu Raijua Regency. 3) Competitive advantages and specialization of the local economy in Sabu Raijua Regency. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Sabu Raijua Regency and East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023. For the data analysis process, LQ (Locatoin Quotient) analysis is used which is divided into 2 approaches, namely static or SLQ (Static Location Quotient), and dynamic approach DLQ (Dynamic Location Quotient), Shift Share analysis, and classsen typology analysis. In this study, the data was processed using Microsoft Excel. The results of this study show that in Sabu Raijua Regency in 2019-2023 there are 7 leading sectors with a static approach and 14 leading sectors with a dynamic approach, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Construction Sector, Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair, Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision Sector, Real Estate Sector, Government Administration Sector, Defense and Compulsory Social Security, Mining and Quarrying Sector, Water Procurement Sector, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Transportation and Warehousing Sector, Financial Services and Insurance Sector, Corporate Services Sector, Education Services Sector and Health Services Sector and Social Activities Based on the shift share analysis, there are 8 sectors that have specialization advantages and 5 sectors that have competitive advantages in Sabu Raijua Regency in 2019-2023, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector, Water Procurement Sector, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair, Standardization and Communication Sector, Financial Services and Insurance Sector, Real Estate Sector, Health Services and Social Activities Sector, Mining and Quarrying Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Transportation and Warehousing Sector and Corporate Services Sector. Based on the Klassen Typology Analysis, there are 7 sectors that are the leading sectors with SLQ>1 and DLQ>1 classifications that have a significant contribution to supporting economic growth in Sabu Raijua Regency in 2019- 2023, namely: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, Processing Industry Sector, Construction Sector, Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector, Car and Motorcycle Repair, Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision Sector, Real Estate Sector and Government Administration Sector and Compulsory Social Security.
