Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how interest influences cognitive learning outcomes by applying the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model regarding Business, Energy and Simple Aircraft at St. Smpk. Theresia is compared to Kupang. The type of research used in this research is quantitative with an associative approach. This research was conducted at SMPK St. Theresia Disamakan Kupang 2024/2025 academic year. The sample used in this research was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection instruments used are learning interest questionnaires and cognitive learning outcomes tests. The analysis techniques used in this research are validity analysis validation, instrument reliability, data analysis prerequisite tests. The results of the research obtained coefficients of significance value of 0.595 > 0.05. Thus, the results of hypothesis testing using simple regression in this research are that there is an insignificant influence between interest and students' cognitive learning outcomes after implementing the Team Games Tournament learning model.
