Abstract

The study aims to :1) find out the description of discipline, learning interests, and outcomes of the students’ cognitive learning by applying the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) of vibration and wave in grade VIII D, second semester of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, 2018/2019. 2) to know the significant influence of discipline and interest in the cognitive learning outcomes by applying the Numbered Head Together of vibration and wave in grade VIII D, second semester of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, 2018/2019. 3) Knowing the significant influence of the discipline and simultaneous learning interests of students’ cognitive learning outcomes by applying the learning model of Numbered Head Together of vibration and wave in grade VIII D, second semester of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, 2018/2019.This is a descriptive and associative research. The research uses one –shot case study design experiments. The population in this study is students grade VIII of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang which amounted to 7 classes. The samples of this study taken by students grade VIII D of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang amounted to 28 students. The data collection techniques for students’ discipline is by using observation sheets, for students’ interests is using polls, and for cognitive learning outcomes is using the tests result. The study result showed that: 1) there was a significant influence on a partial discipline of learners on the outcome of students’ cognitive by applying the Numbered Head Together of vibration and wave in grade VIII D, second semester of SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, 2018/2019 which the F’s price is 30.689 with Sig 0,000, and the value ofregression coefficient (b) is 0,923 which T is 5,540 at the significance of 0,000 < 0, 05. 2) There was no any significant influence of the interest in the students learning towards the student’s cognitive learning outcomes by applying the Numbered Head Together of vibration and wave in grade VIII D of SMPK St. Theresia which the price of F is 3,898 with Sig. 0,059 > 0,05, and the value of regression coefficient (b) is 0, 570 with T value is 1,974 of significance rate 0,059. 3) There were significant influences between the simultaneous discipline and learning interest of students’ cognitive learning results by applying Numbered Head Together of vibration and wave in grade VIII D, SMPK St. Theresia Kupang which its correlate coefficient ( R ) is 0,749, its determination coefficient ( R2) is 0,56. F price is 15, 973 at the significance 0,000. The discipline contribution and learning interests of learning result is 56,1%, and the remainder (43,9%) were from other variables.
