Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, qualifications, leadership, work discipline, and work motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance. The study was conducted at the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Civil Service Agency. Data was collected using a questionnaire administered to 85 respondents as a sample and primary data source. The study includes 5 (five) independent variables, namely competence (X₁), qualifications (X₂), leadership (X₃), work discipline (X₄), and work motivation (X₅), as well as employee performance(Y) as the dependent variable. This study uses a quantitative research method with descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression method using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 16.0. The results of the hypothesis test show that the t value of the competency variable (3.536) indicates that the regression coefficient on the competency variable (X₁) partially (individually) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Similarly, for the qualification variable (X₂) with a t value of 2.008, the leadership variable (X₃) with a t value of 2.032, the work discipline variable (X₄) with a t value of 2.441, and the work motivation variable (X₅) with a t value of 9.281, each variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) individually. The significance values for all five independent variables are 0.001, 0.048, 0.046, 0.017, and 0.003, respectively, all less than 0.05. In simultaneous analysis, the calculated F value for all five independent This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. [196] variables is (93.071) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that Ha (the alternative hypothesis) is accepted and Ho (the null hypothesis) is rejected. This indicates that both individually and collectively, all five hypotheses in this study are accepted. The regression analysis yielded an R² value, indicating that competency, qualification, leadership, work discipline, and work motivation contribute to employee performance, while the remaining portion is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The R² value obtained was 0.855 or 85.50%, indicating that the five independent variables have a strong influence on employee performance. The remaining 14.50% is influenced by otherfactors that were not studied in this research
