Abstract

this study aims to determine: (1) the effect of creativity on mathematics learning achievement in class viii uptd smp negeri 2 kupang, (2) the effect of learning style on mathematics learning achievement in class VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kupang, (3) the influence of creativity and learning styles in general. together on mathematics learning achievement for class viii uptd smp negeri 2 kupang. the research instrument used to examine creativity and learning styles on mathematics learning achievement is a questionnaire technique. the population in this study were all grade viii uptd smp negeri 2 kupang students in the 2021/2022 academic year. the sampling technique in this study was one class which was taken at random using the cluster random sampling technique. the analysis used is inferential statistics using the spss (statistical product and service solution) program. in the results of the analysis of the data hypothesis test, it was found that there was an effect of creativity and learning style together on mathematics learning achievement. this is based on multiple linear regression analysis (f test) it is known that fcount = 8.026 > 3.33 = ftable with a significance value below 0.05 it can be said that simultaneously or together creativity and learning style have a significant effect on students' achievement in learning mathematics.
