Abstract

Community service activities in Desa Baumata Utara focused on empowering family economies through the development of kangkung farming potential in Dusun Oeika. The primary goal was to enhance economic welfare by empowering them through practical training on kangkung cultivation, offline marketing strategies, and financial planning education. The methods employed included direct observation, intensive training, and financial planning socialization to help families manage their income more effectively. The results showed that the community service activities in Dusun Oeika, Desa Baumata Utara, successfully improved farmers' understanding and skills in kangkung cultivation and its marketing strategies. Additionally, the family financial planning socialization had a positive impact by raising awareness about the importance of prudent financial management. With a structured training approach, the community can optimize their local potential to achieve better long-term economic prosperity.
