Abstract

The capital market plays a vital role in the economic turnover of a country. In Indonesia, this role is played by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on IDX data, it is known that in 2023 the growth rate of investors in Indonesia will reach 10.48 million people. However, based on this number, the percentage of investors in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is only 3.36% of the total in Indonesia. This is certainly very disheartening, so an effort is needed so that the number of investors in NTT can increase. This stock education activity to encourage the spirit of becoming young investors is carried out in the form of socialization about the capital market to students of SMA Kupang Barat. The implementation of this community service activity was able to increase the understanding of the students of SMAN 1 Kupang Barat about the capital market, especially the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). As their understanding of the capital market increases, so does their interest in becoming investors.
