Abstract
The development of science and technology is increasingly sophisticated in human life and has a very large and significant influence on life patterns. Mathematics as one of the means of scientific thinking is indispensable to develop logical, systematic, and critical thinking skills in students. This research was conducted to find out the learning obstacles experienced by grade VIII students of Noelbaki Catholic Junior High School in the volume of the material. In this study, the method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study show that what hinders their learning is a very short time, students' interest, game addiction and lack of enthusiasm for learning
