Abstract
This thesis is titled Analysis of PDIP Political Identification in the 2024 Election: A Case Study in Electoral District I of East Manggarai Regency. The research question addressed in this thesis is: How does PDIP Political Identification manifest in the 2024 Election: A Case Study in Electoral District I of East Manggarai Regency? The theoretical framework applied by the researcher to address this question is political party identification. Primary data was gathered from informants, while secondary data consists of documents relevant to the research variables. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted in stages, involving data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings of the research indicate that: (1) The consistency of Pancasila and Marhaenism ideologies serves as a strong foundation for PDIP in advocating for the interests of the marginalized in East Manggarai Regency. Pancasila acts as a unifying force across societal differences, while Marhaenism emphasizes social justice for the common people. Through concrete, locally responsive programs, PDIP has not only improved the quality of life for the community but also strengthened public trust. PDIP's reputation as the "party of the common people" and the ideological legacy of Megawati Soekarnoputri, as a member of the Soekarno lineage, further reinforces the emotional bond with voters, positioning it as a favorable choice in the 2024 election. (2) The "KTP Sakti" program, integrating the Indonesian Health Card (KIS), Indonesian Smart Card (KIP), and Prosperous Family Card (KSS), has proven effective in boosting the electability of PDIP legislative candidates in Electoral District I of East Manggarai Regency. By facilitating access to public and social services, KTP Sakti serves not only as an identification tool but also reflects PDIP's commitment to championing the people's welfare. Community support for legislative candidates such as Salestinus Medi and Tarsius Jangkur has grown stronger, indicating that the program successfully addresses basic needs and fosters greater trust in the party. Based on the analysis, the author concludes that the political party ideology, programs, and policies have a significant impact on PDIP's success in Electoral District I of East Manggarai Regency.
