Abstract

Investment has a very important and strategic role in a country's economy, because it creates jobs, enables technology transfer, and promotes sustainable economic growth. The purpose of the research activity is the Regional Investment Analysis of the Sikka Regency Government, to analyze the potential resources (sectors and leading commodities) in Sikka Regency. The data period used for analysis needs for the 2016-2019 period. The analytical tools used to answer this problem are; Klassen typology analysis and ICOR analysis. The results of the study of leading sectors and commodities in Sikka Regency include Construction and Financial Services and Insurance. In addition, several sectors that are developing and have the potential to become superior are Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; Mining and excavation; Processing industry; Water Supply, Waste, Waste, and Recycling Management; and Education Services. The ICOR calculation for Sikka Regency shows a negative result. This means that investment in Sikka Regency has not reached a meaningful level of efficiency because Sikka Regency does not yet have additional added value generated
