Abstract
Research to determine the amount of available discharge in the Irrigation Area by calculating the amount of irrigation water requirements obtained using cropwatt software version 8.0 in the Holeki Irrigation Area, Raihat District, Belu Regency. This research method is a primary data survey method and secondary data. Data collectiontechniques are interviews and field research. The results of the study are reviewed from the analysis of waterrequirements in the Holeki Irrigation Area, Fohomane Hamlet through several stages of hydrological analysis. First, rainfall analysis using data from the Lahurus rain station obtained from the Nusa Tenggara II River Basin Centerusing the algebraic method. Second, climatology analysis using data from the BMKG Eltari Kupang climatologystation, using Cropwat 8.0 software to calculate evapotranspiration (ET0).Third, analysis of water availability usingthe water balance principle of the Dr. F.J. Mock method, considering factors such as catchment area, length andwidth of the river, and infiltration coefficient and soil moisture (SMC). The results of the water requirement analysiswith Cropwat 8.0 show the irrigation water requirement for two cropping patterns: rice in planting season I and ricein planting season II. In planting pattern I, water is not needed because the rainfall is quite high with a land area of 450 Ha, and in planting pattern II, which requires quite a lot of water of 132.3 l/sec because during planting seasonII, rainfall decreases so that it is not enough for 450 Ha and only enough for 315 Ha. The available water dischargeof 34,1 ltr/sec is able to meet the water requirement for the two cropping patterns with a land area of 450 Ha forplanting season I and 315 Ha for planting season II. In accordance with the results of the field survey, the existingcropping pattern in the irrigation area is rice-rice with a maximum of two planting seasons
