Abstract
This research aims to determine the types of errors made by class XI student at SMA Negeri 9 kupang city in solving problems based on the error category according to Watson . this research uses a discriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out at SMA Negeri 9 kupang city in class XI IIS 1. Data collection techniques in this research used test and interview methods. Data analysis teqniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data and veryfing data. In this research, researchers found error made by students in solving sequence problems bassed on the error category according to Watson, but not all subjects made mistakes based on eight indicators according to Watson
