Abstract
This study aims to describe the mathematics learning achievement of students after participating in learning with the problem-posing learning model and to find out whether there is an effect of the application of the problem-posing learning model to the mathematics learning achievement of high school students. The type of this research is used descriptive quantitative with one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. This research was conducted in class X IPA2 one of the public high schools in Kupang City with the sample of 20 students. The data used in this study are the pretest and posttest value data from the experimental class. To describe learning achievement, data were analyzed using qualification criteria according to Hopkins and Antes. To determine the effect of problem-posing learning models, data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results of the analysis of students 'mathematics learning achievement were obtained that the tendency of students' mathematics learning achievement taught using the problem-posing learning model was at a high qualification. Before testing hypotheses, normality tests are performed for the pretest and posttest value data. The test results show that the pretest and posttest value data are normally distributed. Hypothesis testing used a paired sample t-test, and it is concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of the problem-posing learning model to the mathematics learning achievement of high school students
