Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the understanding of the children of the St. Luis Monfort orphanage, that are Junior High School (SMP) age, regarding Microsoft Word application. This increase in understanding is expected to help them in completing school assignments, as well as for other purposes that require the use of Microsoft Word. This activity was held on October 10, at 15.30-18.00 WITA, at the computer laboratory of the major of Management, Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandira. In this activity, children are taught about various menus contained in Microsoft Word, and their functions. In addition, children are also taught how to use shortcut keys that can help their work in using Microsoft Word
