Abstract

The Eucharist is not only a sacred ceremony that ends in a church building but is closely related to the ecclesial community. Furthermore, it has an impact on building the church community as the body of Christ, namely a fellowship with others.This begins with every Church member who has experienced a renewal of life and living in accordance with the teachings of Christ. The Eucharist also impacts social transformation, starting from the renewed basic ecclesial community. This theological concept is known as Eucharistic Ecclesiology. Therefore, this study aims to reveal how Eucharistic Ecclesiology lived in St. Joseph Parish of Penfui, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. The method used in addition to literature review is qualitative-descriptive study by interviewing some parishioners and observing several Eucharistic celebrations on Sundays and weekdays. The results showed the appreciation of the Penfui parishioners which includes an understanding of the Eucharist nature and its impacts on their lives.
