Abstract

This community service activity has the aim of expanding the green area by planting trees in the Maubeli Village, North Central Timor Regency. The types of trees planted are mahogany and white teak. The activity method begins with taking 50 mahogany and white teak saplings each at the village office. The participants were then divided into ten groups of approximately 2-3 people, who were then directed to dig holes at previously marked points. After being dug, the saplings are then planted and watered. After the planting activity is finished, the participants then go to the village head office for lunch. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can contribute to reduced gas emissions, reduced noise pollution, and cleaner air. This activity lasted for about half a day, involving the Community and Maubeli Village Officials, as well as KKN-PPM Students at Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang.
