Abstract
This is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve the mathematics learning achievement of Class II students at Oefoe State Elementary School in theme 4 sub-theme 1 through the use of learning media about money fractions. The research subjects were all Class II students at SDN Oefoe, West Rote District, Academic Year 2023/2024. The money media used are coins in fractions of one hundred, two hundred, five hundred and one thousand rupiah, as well as banknotes in fractions of two thousand, five thousand and one thousand rupiah which are used to teach material about currency values. This research was carried out in two cycles with five stages, namely: planning, action, observation, reflection and re-planning. The research instruments used were: student learning achievement tests, observation sheets on teachers' abilities in managing learning and observation sheets on student activities. The cycle is said to be successful if at least 70% of students complete it (obtain a test score of at least 65). The results of the research show that: there was an increase in the percentage score of the number of students who completed, namely 64.71%% in Cycle I to 100% in Cycle II so it can be concluded that learning mathematics using the medium of money fractions has been successful in Cycle II. The ngain score calculation carried out obtained a score of 0.31 so it can be concluded that there was an increase in student mathematics learning achievement from Cycle I to Cycle II in the medium category.
