Abstract
This study aims to produce a local wisdom-based learning module on flat building material using the context of buna woven fabric from Insana that is valid practical, and effective. This type of research used is a type of research and development (R&D) with a 4-D development model modified into three stages namely defining, designing and developing. The subjects of this research were students of class VIIC of Giovanni Kupang Catholic Junior High School. Data collection used interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The validation results obtained from the material expert validator were 86.66% with a very valid category. While the results of the practicality assessment analysis of the teacher response questionnaire received a score of 98% with a very practical category and the practicality assessment of the students’ response received a score of 85.6% with a very practical category. The effectiveness test of the N-gain value is 78% with a very effective category. After testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of this local wisdom-based teaching module, it can be concluded that the local wisdom-based teaching module on flat building material using the context of Insana buna woven fabric at Giovanni Catholic Junior High School is declared valid, practical and effective so that it is suitable for use in the learning process in class.
