Abstract
Research by Dona Regina Maria DVG (31121040), with the title “Household Consumption Expenditure, Government Expenditure and Gross Fixed Capital Formation as Determinants of Economic Growth in East Nusa Tenggara Province”. Under the guidance of Dr. M. E. Perseveranda, S.E., M.Si as supervisor 1 and Mrs. Emiliana Martuti Lawalu, S.E., M.E as supervisor 2. This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of household consumption expenditure, government expenditure and gross fixed capital formation on economic growth in East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2019-2023. This type of research is quantitative research, the data used is panel data. The analysis technique used is panel data linear regression analysis processed with Eviews 12 software. The results of the study indicate that the results of the partial test (t-test) of the household consumption expenditure variable (X1) with a significant value of 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05. This means that the household consumption expenditure variable (X1) has a significant effect on the economic growth of NTT Province, the government expenditure variable (X2) with a significant value of 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05. This means that the government expenditure variable (X2) has a significant effect on the economic growth of NTT Province, and the gross fixed capital formation variable (X3) with a significant value of 0.003 is smaller than α = 0.05.This means that the gross fixed capital formation variable (X3) has a significant effect on the economic growth of NTT Province. The results of the simultaneous test indicate that the household consumption expenditure variable (X1), government expenditure (X2) and gross fixed capital formation (X3) with a significant value of 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05. This means that collectively there is a significant influence of the variables of household consumption expenditure, government expenditure and gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) on the economic growth of NTT Province (Y). It is recommended that the government reorganize the budget planning required to ensure that limited financial resources are appropriately distributed across sectors. For the community to start a side business in order to get additional income for households which can later increase purchasing power and consumption.
