Abstract

Fransiska Putri Cristi Kemba, Thesis 2025, Analysis of the Impact of Poverty Alleviation Programs on Household Economy in Rana Mbata Village, Kota Komba Utara District, East Manggarai Regency, Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang, under the guidance of Dr. Marius Masri S.E., M.Sc. and Mr. Adrianus Ketmoen S.E., M.M. The title of this research is Analysis of the Impact of Poverty Alleviation Programs on Household Economy in Rana Mbata Village, Kota Komba Utara District, East Manggarai Regency. This study aims to analyze the impact of Poverty Alleviation Programs, specifically the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), on the socioeconomic conditions of households in Rana Mbata Village, Kota Komba Utara District, East Manggarai Regency. The research approach uses quantitative methods with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and documentation from a purposively selected sample of beneficiary families. The results indicate that the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) have had a positive impact on improving food security, access to education, and healthcare for beneficiary households. However, these benefits are short-term and require support from locally-based economic empowerment programs and the use of digital technology to ensure their sustainability. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of integrating social assistance with skills training, access to business capital, and ongoing mentoring to promote community economic independence.
