Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of accountability, transparency, and community participation in village financial management and its impact on development in Wairkoja Village, Kewapante Districyt, Sikka Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observations and documentatiton which were analyzed systematically. The results showed that the implementation of accountability in village financial management has been implemented through clear reporting and accountability mechanisms. The implementation of transparency is realized in the form of access to information to the community regarding the use of village finances, although there are still obstacles in delivering information widely. Community participation is quite active in the implementation process, but the level of involvement in the planning process of development planning meetings still needs to be improved. The implementation of the principles of accountabillity, transparency, and community participation contributed to the improvement of village development, especially in the areas of infrastructure, economic empowerment, and improving community health and education. However, there are still challenges in the distribution of development benefits that have not been fully equitable.
