Abstract
This study aims to: (1) find out the literacy and numeracy activities of students during the implementation of the Teaching Campus Program, (2) find out the literacy and numeracy skills of students after participating in the program, and (3) analyze the improvement of students' literacy and numeracy skills after participating in the program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The results of the study showed that the literacy and numeracy activities of students were in the very high and high categories with average scores of 85.67% and 75.29%, respectively. In addition, there was an increase in students' abilities, which was shown by the increase in pretest and posttest scores. The literacy score increased from 68.3 to 82.6, while numeracy increased from 60.3 to 67.5. However, the increase is still relatively low based on the N-Gain value, which is 0.3 for literacy and 0.01 for numeracy. Despite the increase in scores in the pretest and posttest results, the level of improvement in literacy and numeracy skills is still relatively low based on the N-Gain analysis. This shows that although the program is able to increase engagement and literacy and numeracy skills, its effectiveness in encouraging students' abilities still needs to be improved.
