Abstract

Football is a very popular sport worldwide and is widely favored by the Indonesian public, especially in East Nusa Tenggara. Efforts to develop football in East Nusa Tenggara are not supported by the availability of a suitable stadium for hosting national and international matches. The central government of East Nusa Tenggara has announced that it will build a national-standard stadium for the 22nd National Games (PON XXII) in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Therefore, the objective of this design is to design a Type A football stadium in Kupang Regency using a cable and tent structure. The design method used in this design is a qualitative method with analytical techniques that consider data and approaches ranging from analysis of function, activity, space, site, climate, form, materials, and structure.
