Abstract

The utilization of information technology in education has a significant impact, especially in managing academic data. Sekolah Dasar Inpres Ropa in Keliwumbu Village, Maurole District, Ende Regency, still uses manual methods for managing academic data, attendance, and information delivery. This causes the processes to be ineffective and inefficient. This research aims to design and develop a website-based Academic Information System to address these issues. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The results of this research are in the form of a website-based academic information system that is able to simplify the management of academic data and attendance in a safe and structured manner, speed up the data search process, and present academic reports according to needs. It is expected that this system can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of academic data management at Sekolah Dasar Inpres Ropa.
