Abstract

This study aims to address the problems in managing borehole data at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Belu Regency, which is still carried out manually. The manual recording process often leads to errors and delays in presenting information. As a solution, a prototype of a web-based application was developed using the Waterfall method, with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The application is designed to help manage data on officers, assets, districts, and boreholes in a more centralized and structured way.The development process includes system analysis, design, implementation, and testing using the black-box method on 18 main features. The test results show that all features work properly without major technical errors. The system is easy to use and improves work efficiency compared to the previous manual method. In addition, data recording becomes more accurate, and the time required for data input and searching is significantly reduced.Although it is still in the form of a web-based prototype, this system shows potential for further development and implementation. It can support the PUPR Department of Belu Regency in managing borehole data more effectively, efficiently, and in an integrated manner.
