Abstract

The problem that often occurs in a company, especially in a self-employed company is how to manage human resources to perform their duties and obligations to achieve company to improve employee’s performance, the business that carried out by the company is insparable from supporting factors, which include work environment, commitment, compensation, and employee’s work motivation. If the above supporting factors can be managed properly by the company, then the objectives of the company can be achieved. This research aims to determine and explain the influence of the work environment, commitment, and compensation to employee performance with work motivation as a moderating variable at STIKes Citra Husada Mandiri Kupang. The data used in this research were collected questionnaires. The research was conducted on 100 respondents. Testing instruments was using the confirmatory factor analysis model. Furthermore, data analysis was performed by analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM) AMOS 22. The results of this research can be concluded that the descriptive analysis of the indicators achievement with details, CI work environment variables amounted to 70.18 % with the category “good”, CI commitment variable amounted to 64.72 % with the category “good enough”, CI compensation variable of 49.07 % with the category “not good”, CI work motivation variable is 64.46 % with the category “good enough”, and CI variable employee’s performance is 55.03 % with the category “good enough”. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the work environment has a significant effect on employee’s performance through work motivation with a regression coefficient 5.904 and probability values < 0.05. Commitment has a significant effect to employee’s performance through work motivation with regression coefficient 3.618 and probability values < 0.05. Compensation has a significant effect to employee’s performance through work motivation with a regression coefficient 2.057 with a probability value < 0.05. Work environment has a significant effect to employee’s performance with a regression coefficient 4.827 and probability values < 0.05. Compensation significantly affects employee’s performance as indicated by a regression coefficient 6.040 with a probability value of < 0.05. Motivation significantly affects emploee’s performance with a regression coefficient 5.865 with a probability value < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it is expected the STIKes Citra Husada Mandiri Kupang will pay more attention to the supporting factors of employee’s performance, namely the work environment, commitment, compensation, and work motivation in order to realize the company’s goals.
