Abstract
This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of cooperative learning model type TAI in the class VIIID students of the subject of Simple plane. In detail the purpose of this study are (1) Describe the ability of teachers in managing learning activities by applying cooperative learning model type TAI; (2) Describe the cooperative skills of learners in learning activities by applying TAI type cooperative learning model; (3) Describe the completeness of learning outcome indicators by applying cooperative learning model of TAI type; (4) Describe the learning outcomes of learners by applying TAI type cooperative learning model; (5) Describe the response of learners to the learning activities by applying cooperative learning model type TAI. This type of descriptive research.The subjects of this study were teachers (researchers) and students class VIIID SMP Negeri 8 Kupang academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 29 learners. While the instrument used in this research is the Observation Sheet of Learning Management, Test Results Learning (product, affective and psychomotor), Cooperative Skills Observation Sheet and Resume Lecture Resume Sheet. Data collection techniques used are Observation, Test and Questionnaire Response Learners. Technique of analysis of research result that used is quantitative descriptive analysis include calculation of average score, proportion and percentage. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the research data shows that in general the application of cooperative learning model type TAI is good for the basic subject of Simple Aircraft in the students of class VIIID SMP Negeri 8 Kupang which amounted to 29 students. 1) The ability of teachers in managing learning activities by applying TAI type cooperative learning model that includes: learning device planning, learning evaluation planning and implementation of learning are included in both categories with the average scores in a row are: 3.92; 3.65 and 4.00. 2) The cooperative skills of learners include: being on duty, taking turns and sharing tasks, encouraging participation, listening actively and asking or answering in general and the average score being within the defined limits of evactivity criteria. 3) Indicators of Learning Outcomes (product, affective and psychomotor) prepared largely due to the complete completion of 0.85, 0.93, 0.86 exceed the completeness criteria of at least 0.75. 4) The result of physics learners of class VIIID SMP Negeri 8 Kupang on the subject matter of Simple Aircraft as a whole is complete and there is an increase of correct answer proportion from 0.42 to 0.84 of 0.42, while for affective and psychomotor aspect completely complete with proportion averaging 0.84 each. 5) Student response to the implementation of learning by applying the model of cooperative learning type TAI obtained percentage which includes five aspects namely: 80% preliminary activity with very good category, 80% core activities with very good category, 83% cover activities with very good category, 83% time management with very good category and 82% classroom atmosphere with very good category. So the total average score obtained from the five aspects is 81.6% with very good category.
