Abstract

The main problem in this study is how the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter of Straight Motion for students of class X Natural Science 1 Odd Semester SMAN 5 Kupang Academic Year 2018/2019? In detail the objectives of this research are to: (1. How is the ability of Educators in managing learning by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach to the subject matter of Straight Motion for students of grade X Science 1 odd semester of SMA 5 Kupang in the 2018/2019 academic year? (2. How is completeness learning outcome indicators by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach to the subject matter of Straight Motion for students of class X Science 1 Odd Semester SMAN 5 Kupang in the 2018/2019 academic year? (3. How are the students' learning outcomes implemented by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach subject matter to Straight Motion to students grade X Natural Science 1 odd semester of SMAN 5 Kupang in 2018/2019 academic year? (4. How do students respond to learning activities by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach to the subject matter of Straight Motion for students in grade X Science 1 odd semester of SMA 5 Kupang in the 2018/2019 school year? . The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the application of the Guided Inquiry Approach to the subject matter of Straight Motion for students of class X IPA1 of SMAN 5 Kupang in the 2018/2019 academic year. In detail the objectives of this research are 1) Describe the ability of the teacher in managing the learning process by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach. 2) Describe the Completeness of Learning Outcomes Indicators by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach. 3) Describing the learning outcomes of students by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach. 4) Describe the students' response to the learning process by applying the Guided Inquiry Approach. This type of research is descriptive. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of class X IPA1 of SMAN 5 Kupang, totaling 36 people. The technique used in selecting research subjects of Class X IPA1 students of SMAN 5 Kupang is the Non Probability Sampling technique (purposive sampling). Learning tools used in this study are syllabi, teaching materials for students, learning implementation plans and student worksheets. while the instrument used in this study is a learning management observation sheet, student learning outcomes test and student response sheet. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, tests and questionnaires. Data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis technique by calculating the average value, proportion and percentage. Based on the results of the analysis, it was said that in general the application of the Guided Inquiry Approach to the principal of Straight Motion for students in class X IPA1 of SMA 5 Kupang is optimal.
