Abstract

The study entitled "The Effect of Training, Organizational Culture and Work Environment on Motivation and Its Impact on the Discipline of the Work of the State Civil Apparatus at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office" was written by Marthen B. N. Keden with NIM 8112171033MM, and guided by Dr. Stanis Man, SE., M.Sc. and Dr. Simon Sia Niha, SE., M. Si Human resources play an important role in public services at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office which according to observations is still lacking. It is estimated that public services can be of better quality, effective and efficiency if supported by training, organizational culture, work environment, motivation and work discipline. The questions in this study are: 1) What is the response of respondents about training, organizational culture, work environment, motivation and work discipline of ASN at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 2) Does the training variable significantly influence the motivation of ASN in the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 3) Does the organizational culture variable significantly influence the motivation of ASN in the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 4) Does the work environment variable have a significant effect on ASN motivation in the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 5) Does the training variable significantly influence the ASN work discipline at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 6) Does the organizational culture variable have a significant effect on ASN work discipline at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 7) Does the work environment variable significantly influence the ASN work discipline at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? 8) Does the Motivation variable have a significant effect on ASN work discipline at the Kupang District Manpower and Transmigration Office? The population in this study was the State Civil Apparatus at the Kupang Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office totaling 35 people. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 35 respondents with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and Structural Equation Model Partial Last Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the value of the indicator achievements for the training included in the good category (79,80%), the organizational culture was categorized very well (86,20%), the work environment was categorized very well (90,80%), the motivation was categorized very well (93,00%), work discipline is categorized as good (82,00%). The results of the Structural Equation Model analysis show that training has a significant effect on motivation with a statistical t value of 2.509, organizational culture has no significant effect on motivation with a t value of statistics 0.167, the work environment has a significant effect on motivation with a t value of 2.598, training has a significant effect on discipline with a value t statistic 2.494, organizational culture has a significant effect on discipline with a t value of 2.191, work environment does not have a significant effect on discipline with a t value of 0.984 and motivation has a significant effect on work discipline with a t value of 2.873.
