Abstract

The general problem in this research is how is the result of applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018?. While the specific problem in this research are: (1) How is the capability of teacher in managing learning process by applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018?. (2) How is the completness of Studying Result Indicator in applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018?. (3) How is the completness of student’s study result in applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018? (4) How is the response of students toward the learning process by applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018?. The general aim of this research is describing the result of applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. Specifically, the purposes of this research are: (1) Describing teacher’s competence in managing the learning process by applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. (2) Describing the completness of Studying Result Indicator in applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. (3) Describing completness of student’s study result in applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division (STAD)” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. (4) Describing the response of students toward the learning process by applying cooperative learning model “ Student Team Achievement Division(STAD)” type in the subject energy and effort to the eight B class of St. Theresia Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. Kind of this research is descriptive research. Subject of this research are teacher (researcher) and 29 students of eight B class of St. Theresia Senior High School Kupang in the academic year 2017/2018. Technique in choosing subject of students is purposive sampling. The equipments of learning which are used are BAPD, Syllabus, Lesson Plan, and LKPD. Technique which is used in collecting the data are Learning Management Observation Sheet, THB (Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor), and Students Response Answer Sheet. The technique of data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis by counting average score, proportion, and percentage. Based on the result of descriptive analysis, research data is found that model application of cooperative learning “ Student Team Achievement Division(STAD)” type, can be applied optimally in the main subjcet energy and effort to 29 eight grade B students of St. Theresia Junior High School Kupang.
