Abstract

This study aimed to: Describe the results of the application of guided inquiry approach to the subject matter and the displacement alor k material P okok K alor and P erpindahannya learners class VII B SMPK Giovanni Kupang semester 2018/2019 academic year. In detail, it can be formulated as follows: 1) Describe the teacher's ability to process learning activities. 2) Describe the completeness of indicators of learning outcomes. 3) Describe learning outcomes. 4 ) Describe the response of students to learning activities. This type of research is descriptive research subjects in this study are educators (researchers) and the students of class VII B SMPK Giovanni Kupang semester 2018/2019 academic year y ang totaling 24 learners. Learning devices used in this study are as follows: Learning materials for students (BAPD), Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD) , Learning Outcomes Grid (cognitive, psychomotor affective). Data collection techniques are observation, tests and questionnaires. Penelitianini dgunakan instrument in observation sheet management is pe m belajaran, achievement test, and spreadsheet re spon learners. The ananalysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques which include average scores, proportions and percentages. Descriptive analysis results showed that the application of the Guided Inquiry Approach to the subject matter of Caloric and Displacement was optimal for students of class VII B SMPK SMPK, namely : 1) The ability of teachers to manage learning at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages reached an average of 3, 91; 3.91 and 3.81. 2) Completion of cognitive learning outcome indicators with 14 indicator indicators reaching an average proportion of 0.90;afekti indicator with 7 aspects observed reached an average proportion of 0.89 and psychomotor indicators with 3 aspects observed reaching an average proportion of 3.81. 3) Completion of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes each achieved an average score of 0.84; 0.88 and 0.88. 4) The response of students with 9 aspects observed reached an average proportion of 85.07%.
