The objective of this rescaseh is to determine wheter the effect of the problem solving student mathematics achievement. Mathematics is a science thatis universal. In order for the learning objectives to be achived, the mathematics teacher needs to inovvate in choosing a problem solving learning model for the mathematics learning achievement ot Grade VII SMP Negeri 10 kupang. The sample in this study is the class student of SMP Negeri 10 kupang VII A totaling 26 people. The data used in this rescareh are taken from the result of pretes and posttest of the class experimental with using learning method of recitation. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 and manual analyzed. Prior to testing hypothesis testing, aprerequisite test were conducted, whice is a nomality check fot pretes and posttest data. The data obtained from the pretest the analyzed result was sig. (2-tailde) = 0,45 > 0,02 and Dcount = 0,169 < 0,259 = Dtabel Then H0 is rejected and Ha the dada were normally distribute. Ehile the data obtained from the posttest wes sig. (2-talide) = - 27,608 > 0,05 and Dcouny = -34,88052 < 0,259 = Dtabel thus H0 accepted and the data were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using a paird sampel test, after the data analyzed the result was sing. (2-tailed= 0,00 < 0,05 ) and tcount = -27,608 > 2, 05954 = ttabel, rescaseh of the teaching model recitation of archive junior hing school student to learn mathematical of grade VII SMPN 10 Kupang priode 2019/2020. These result ofthis rescaseh showsthe effect of problem solving learning model to the student’mathematical skills. Therefore the aurhors suggest for teacher to use problem solving model on learning in the classroom in accordance withthe material to be taught.
