Abstract

This study was conducted by Marianus Antonius D. D. Banase (31116128), Economic Development Study Program student. This study was supervised by Br. Salomon Leki, SE., M.Ec.Dev as a first supervisor and Adrianus Ketmoen, SE., MM as a second supervisor. The title of the study is “The analysis of the financial statement of PT. Pembangunan Daerah Bank (BPD) East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT)”. The purpose of this study: 1) to explain the analysis of PT. Pembangunan Daerah Bank’s (BPD) financial statement; 2) to explain the development of PT. Pembangunan Daerah Bank’s (BPD) financial ratios; 3) to explain the causative factors of the growth of PT. Pembangunan Daerah Bank’s (BPD) financial ratios. This study used descriptive statistics of PT. Pembangunan Daerah Bank’s (BPD) financial statement to analyse their financial ratios using liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, and profitability ratio. This study used secondary data derived from the official website of NTT Bank with the latest five years of publication from 2015 to 2019. Based on the data of assets growth over the past 5 years, the highest growth of financial statement, the liabilities and equity was 29 % in 2019 and hit the lowest point in 2016 (0.5%). Moreover, the highest growth in minimum capital requirements was 33% in 2015, and the lowest growth was 2% in 2019.When it comes to liquidity ratios, the highest current ratio development was 122% in 2018 decreased to the lowest level in 2019 (116%). At the same time, the cash ratio growth showed the highest ratio in 2019 (5%) and the lowest ratio in 2015 (3%). Additionally, solvency ratio presented the highest growth of debt to assets ratio in 2018 (122%) decreased to the lowest level in 2019 (116%), while the highest debt to equity growth ratio in 2019 (628%) and the lowest in 2017 (474%). Furthermore, profitability ratio showed the highest growth of return on assets in 2019 (3%) and the lowest in 2019 (2%), while return on equity growth is the highest growth in 2019 (17%) and the lowest growth in 2019 (12%).
