Technological developments make the need for computers greatly improved. Computers were created to help human work. The more human work that is assisted by the computer, the higher the accuracy of computer use. The higher level of computer use accuracy should be offset by the high level of user accuracy to the problems that exist on the increasingly complex computer. However, the fact that the number of computer technicians with users is not very appropriate. Therefore, it needs an expert system application that can diagnose the damage that occurs on the computer. That is the main indicator of this research. To get maximum results, the authors not only do research but also make a design system to diagnose a computer-based damage to the website using the forward chaining method. The Tools that are used to build the system are Visual Studio code with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. As a result of this design research, the expert system is able to diagnose the damage that occurred to the computer hardware section with the test results on the system that has been running well as expected
