Abstract

Which can specifically be formulated as follows: 1) how is the teacher's ability to manage learning activities by applyinglearning models discoverylearning? 2) how are the indicators of student learning outcomes complete by applyinglearning models discoverylearning? 3) how are the students' learning outcomes complete by applyinglearning models discoverylearning? 4) how do students respond to learning activities by applyinglearning models discoverylearning? The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the application oflearning model discovery learning heat subject matter and its displacement to students in class VIIA in odd semester Private Junior High School Adhyaksa 2 Recognized Kupang 2018/2019 school year. In detail the purpose of this study is 1) to describe the teacher's ability to manage learning activities by applyinglearning models discoverylearning; 2) describe the completeness of student learning outcomes indicators by applyinglearning models discoverylearning; 3) how the students' learning outcomes are complete by applyinglearning models discoverylearning; 4) describe students' responses to learning activities by applyinglearning models discoverylearning. The type of this research is descriptive research. Subjects in this study are educators (researchers) and students of class VIIIA odd semester Private Junior High School Adhyaksa 2 Recognized Kupang 2018/2019 academic year which amounted to 20 students determined by purposive sampling technique and in this study using design one group pretest posttest. Learning tools used in this study are as follows: Student Learning Materials (BAPD), Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), Learning Outcomes Test Grids and Learning Outcomes Tests. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, tests and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets for learning management, learning outcomes tests and student response sheets. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques which include average scores, proportions and percentages. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the research data concluded, that in general the application oflearning model learnindiscoverygis optimal for heat subject matter and its transfer to students in class VIIA in odd semester Private Junior High School Adhiaksa 2 Recognized Kupang in the 2018/2019 school year , totaling 21 students. In detail obtained the ability of educators in managing learning which includes learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation is good with a score of 3.93; 3.50; 3.61. Learning outcomes indicator (IHB) prepared as many as 11 cognitive indicators, nine affective indicators, and three indicators psychomorphic with three RPP for each RPP all completed with an average proportion 0.87; 1.00; 0.90. Learning Outcomes Test (THB) of students both from the affective, psychomotor and cognitive aspects are all complete with a score of 1.00; 0.90; and 0.90. The students' responses to learning activities consisting of 5 aspects are all in very good category with an average percentage of 94%.
